Austin's Writer's Corner

Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Austin Helms, but you can call me The Poet. Go and read my About Me page. Almost certainly, this page will be under constant construction, since this is a page where you can submit your writings. This is THE place to be if you like to write, or read. There is a lot you can do here, and it will updated almost daily. So, bookmark it, it to your favorites, or do whatever you do with cool pages.

Now, the purpose of this club. I am offering free publishing here at my page. Well, it's not really publishing, but it is pretty darn close. You can send me your writings, and I will put them on my page after my editors approve them. (The edititors are apart of my club, but we'll get into that later.)

Things you can submit to my page:

• Poems
• Short Stories
• Long Stories
• Book Reviews
• Even Books! (By chapter, of course)
• Anything Else Literary

There are some rules, as there always is.

• Your stories cannot have excessive cursing. A few little words here and there is okay. Just try not to use it throughout the whole story.
• I really don't like sexual situations either. You can use it, but just don't go into a bunch of detail, if you know what I mean.
• Violence is okay. Blood and guts don't bother me that much. You could launch an all out war for all I care.

Before I list the different sections of my page, let me tell you about the club. I have started a club called The Internet Literary Club (ILC). The link below will take you to the new club page. It includes the members stories, so please go! The graphics are awesome. (Thanks Chris Childs!)

You can join the club. The only rules are that you are 13 or older, you can write anything at all, and you can answer a few questions:

Send these to me by email with the subject as "Internet Literary Club"

1. Name (first or full)
2. Email Address (very important)
3. Age (please don't lie)
4. Sex (male, female, both, or not sure)
5. Homepage (if any)
6. Birthday (optional, but I would appreciate it if you would give it to me)

• Stories, Poems, and Such - Please go here and read all of the submissions to my page.
• My Awards - I am pretty pleased with my page, because I have won all sorts of awards. Check them out and submit your own site.
• Advertisements - This is where I keep all of my banners. Just check it out.
• Webrings - Oh, you know the webrings.
